大家好！
This week was kind of slow for me and my area. I'm currently waiting for my new companion to arrive and so this week I joined Sister Brady and Sister Wright's companionship. We covered Vic 1 and Wanchai this week and it was really confusing and weird haha. Not much has happened as I've just been joining their companionship in doing their area's schedule mostly.
☆ We went to the temple on Tuesday with Lilly! She felt the spirit so strongly and had a really good time at the temple. She said she felt really peaceful and didn't want to go back to work haha. So happy we get to bring our friends to the temple. So blessed we get to live near one and so blessed that Hong Kong is so small that it only takes like an hour to get to everywhere haha.
☆ We had a chance to visit Sara Yin and she was such a talker haha but loved every sharing that she had. One of the things she talked about was how she passively learns because as a mother, she doesn't really have time to study the scriptures but that she learns from her children as she watches them grow and grow together with them. I love that! Heavenly Father is aware of each of our circumstances, and He has provided a way for us to learn whether it be in books of scriptures or even from people around us. When we got home she messaged us and said "Thank you so much for coming and asking me questions! The best teacher/missionary is guiding students to search for answer on themselves!" Something to think about and ponder about.
☆ Sunday was such a crazy day. We met this girl Apple and we spent 3 hours with her trying to figure out what was happening. She seemed like she wasn't in her right mind and was having hallucinations maybe. But I felt so much love and concern for her. It felt so sad seeing someone who felt so hurt and confused about what was going on in her life because she clearly doesn't understand anything. She was 29 years old but talking to her felt like she was 10 years old. But I think it was really nice how sister Frear and sister Wright met her when sister Wright first arrived here in Hong Kong but then their communication stopped. After 8 months she reached out to us by coming to church and was just there to at least be by her side.

• on mother's day we gave all the members cards and we had some extras so we gave it to our security guard and SHE PUT IT IN FRONT OF HER DESK SO WE SEE IT EVERYDAY. SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!
